Happy New Year and ಹೊಸ ವರುಶದ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು.

Makara Sankranthi festival is scheduled to be celebrated on Sat Jan 16th Jan 5:30 pm at the Hindu Temple. This event is sponsored by Smt Triveni and Dr Venkat Rao.

  • Makara Shankranti marks the movement of the sun in the northern Hemisphere and the lengthening of daylight in the northern hemisphere
  • The new year in 2010 beckons us with its good wishes and with a lot of hope for all of us.
  • The new committee will be glad to continue the tradition of Shankranti by providing Pongal and other delicious dishes.
  • Entertainment by children and others will make this a delightful evening.
