ankranthi celebrations are on Sat Jan 17th 2009. Evite and event fliers will be coming soon at  your (e)mailbox! It is time to organize various entertainment programs for the evening! Are you or  your children interested in presenting an individual or group item at this year's Sankranthi function? The celebration will occur on the evening of Jan 17that the Hindu Temple of Wisconsin.

• Nature of the item (Ex: dance, vocal song, instrumental music, poetry or shloka recital, drama, etc.)
• Approximate duration in minutes
• Technical support required (Ex: number of microphones, lighting assistance, curtain assistance
• Amount of time needed for stage preparation
• Description of the item (Ex: "Song from the movie ABC, with X and Y starring, originally sung by X, music composed by D and lyrics by E"; or "Kannada comedy play by XYZ, etc)
• Anything else you would like to share about your item

The intent of this request is to make sure that:

You get all the support and facilities you need/we can provide -- to perform at your best
and feel really good about how you or child did on stage. The evening is as pleasant and professional as we can get, so that we ensure an unforgettable experience for everyone in the audience and on stage. We have a smooth-flowing evening of entertainment, instead of having yawning gaps between items.
